After a careful analysis of the pending impact of the Inflation Reduction Act on Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs), Mutual of Omaha Rx has made the strategic decision to exit the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan market at the end of 2024.
As a leading provider of Medicare Supplement insurance for more than 50 years, they remain fully committed to offering valuable solutions to senior health customers, including Medicare Supplement, dental and vision coverage, as well as their co-branded Medicare Advantage PPO plans with Wellcare.
They are also discontinuing marketing of their Mutual of Omaha Rx Prescription Drug Plans, effective immediately to prevent further customer disruption.
Consumer marketing materials will no longer be available in Forms and Materials as of Tuesday, March 12th, however Mutual of Omaha Rx enrollment kits will be available and accepted until further notice.
