Equitables' sister company, Equitable National Life Insurance Company, continues to offer Medicare Supplement insurance and nothing stated herein changes our Equitable National sales and marketing. Equitable has made the difficult decision to discontinue the sales of the following products:
Discontinuation is effective September 1, 2019. New applications must be signed on or prior to September 1, 2019 and received at the home office in good order on or prior to Monday, September 16, 2019. Starting today, they will not be accepting any benefit changes for existing inforce policies.
There are no changes to inforce policy coverage and benefits. There are also no changes to customer service and claims contacts.
