Liberty Bankers Life, Shenandoah Life, & Combined Insurance have all made the following announcement: To better protect your clients, and improve operational efficiency, we are implementing a new bank draft process.For all applications signed on or after October 1, 2018, available draft dates will be limited. *The preferred (and default) draft date will be the requested effective date.* If the requested effective date is on or before the 14th of the month, applicants may elect to change the draft date from the effective date to the 1st of the month. For effective dates on or after the 15th of the month, applicants may elect the 15th.This new process is being applied on a go-forward basis for new issuance. *In-force policies are under review and will be addressed separately.* Both the Underwriting Guidelines and eApp are in the process of being updated.
