Aetna Announces important temporary process changes

To help our members during this time, we're making a few temporary changes to our processes.

  • Policy pages will be mailed directly to policyholders
  • A&H members can cancel policy by phone

Effective immediately, we will mail all policies directly to policyholders. The "Mail to Agent" option on Aetna Quote & Enroll will be temporarily suspended. All applications will default to "Mail to Policyholder" until further notice. This temporary policy change is to support the current social distancing guidelines, by stopping the hand delivery of policies by agents.

Also until further notice, A&H members will no longer need to submit a request in writing to cancel their policy. They can cancel by phone. We'll still send a letter to the agent of record letting them know the policy was cancelled. Agents can also review their book of business on aetnaseniorproducts.com to view any cancelled policies.
