The "Silver Tsunami," or a massive number of people turning 65, is upon us. The Wall Street Journal reports more Americans are turning 65 now than ever before, and that trend will continue through 2027.
This year, we expect about 4.1 million Americans to turn age 65. That averages to over 11,000 baby boomers aging into Medicare each day.
